Small Faceted Shino Jar

This piece was wheel-thrown and wet-faceted with a textured wire tool. It was bisque-fired, glazed inside with a copper-red glaze and an orange shino glaze on the outside. It was then fired in a reduction atmosphere to Cone 10.

The shiny red glaze on the inside of the jar and the lid are a lovely surprise.
